How did the company get started?
With a long experience in the hosting business our founders (Niclas and Simon) knew what was being done and what could be done better. Therefore they founded beebyte from the idea that hosting can be done better, much better, than what was currently done on the market.
Niclas and Simon together had more than 30 years of combined experience in the hosting market when they started beebyte. They knew that quality in all services, no matter if shared hosting, support or VPS, was crucial for success. Therefore, during the first 3 years, beebyte grew to about 2000 customers in the Swedish market alone and is now the fastest growing Swedish hosting company two years in a row.
What lessons were learned since the start of the company?
beebyte is founded on the belief that transparency, openness and innovation renders healthy and profitable businesses. What we have learned is that the more we give into the market in terms of GPL Software or tools for simplifying stuff, the more we and everyone gets out of it.

Do you have any tip for people who want to start their own WordPress business?

How do you see your company evolving in the next 5 years?
Being the fastest growing hosting company in sweden for a couple of years, and with extensive experience of doing business abroad we see it as a natural way forward to reach out to the rest of Europe. We already have a presence in Cluj (Romania) and are looking forward to starting new partnerships around Europe.
